It opens from outside but not from inside sort of like a child lock. I checked and doesn't appear to be a child lock in the front door. Anyone with a quick solution as I'm too lazy to go to dealer for this minor problem and don't have the time to remove door panel to explore.

 

maybe the wire that the door handle is connected to popped out.

 

Yea it should be the wire for sure. I had that happen to my passenger rear door. You have to take out the door panel. Shouldn't take you more than 15 mins if you never taken the door panel out before.
