Overlay fail on tails

Bubbles, creases, bad. Any tips on how to deal with the curve part of the taillight?

Also. Has anyone applied overlay then cut out the white part on the 07 base tail?

bforbrian had the white cut out, i think you can buy overlays with it cut out already
