Odd burning smell inside the vehicle

OK so not sure this is posted in the right place.
But yesterday I drove my 2008 acura tl v6 3.2 about 30 miles. Stopped and had lunch. When i got back in my vehicle, it reaked like cat urine.
A friend said that a serpentine belt can make that smell when its burning, rubbing, or overstressing other components.
I drove two other places yesterday letting the car rest while i was there about 30-45 minutes, both times when getting back in the vehicle it was VERY strong smelling like a burnt cat urine smell. There are no cats around my vehicle. I have checked my cabin air and my air intake filters and they are brand new. No presence of mold or mildew. My serpentine belt is quite worn and has a few actual holes in it, (Didnt know that until yesterday) So i ordered a new one that is coming in the next couple of days.
Any insight if that would be a genuine cause of what I am smelling? It was very sudden as of yesterday that this began and I am uncertain/unexperienced with vehicle smells from burning and such.

Please and thank you for your insight. Merry christmas and happy holidays to all.

Check your cabin air filter. Also, don't know where you live but if in a cold climate with rats, mice, or other rodents, some of them may take up residence in your engine cabin for warmth. Keep us posted.

I did indeed just has some mice chew up my engine harness and had it repaired. we recently moved to a brand new town house from the middle of nowhere in the country. I live in WA state. It was extremely sudden as of the other day. I am changing my engine bay and cabin air filter this evening actually and also changing out my serpentine which is my full alternator and drive belt all in one. So im hoping it'll save the problem. My girlfriend changed her cabin air today as i did a valve cover and spark plugs and found like half an average sized pillow worth of stuffing in it. SO i am assuming mine is most likely jam packed with crap.

If possible, take a few pictures of the 'holes' in the old worn serpentine belt and post them here.
Over the years, I've witnessed cracks and missing grove sections; however, an actual hole would be a first to observe, for me anyway, lol.
