New clutch problems...

So I replaced my clutch in my 07 TL Type S. Install went fairly smoothly, a few bumps along the road but not terrible. At least until I started it. It makes a high pitched screeching noise, especially at idle. Fies away briefly if revved up.. It won't shift out or into any gears once running. Clutch starts to smoke very shortly. I reset the pressure plate, followed all the torque specs. The clutch kit is an OE style Luk with new flywheel. New flywheel came with pilot bearing, and clutch came with new release bearing. I replaced the slave cylinder and rubber hose, then bleed all the dirty fluid out replacing with new. When pushing the pedal, it seems to release,, but also feels very close to the floor. I also replaced 5 motor mounts with innovation mounts at the same time.

I'm really at my end. I was a mechanic for 13 years and I never had this happen, and I am at a loss. I dont have a lift or garage, so this was a cold ass driveway job, and I dont want to take out the trans again if I don't have to. Any ideas would be wonderful and appreciated. I'm about to use my Suburban and see if it can drive over my car at this point.

Thank you in advance.

How did you reset the pressure plate? You have the LUK SAC tool?

I dont. I actually use a 3 jaw puller and a large socket, and was able to put enough pressure on the springs to move the adjuster back to preload.

Clutch smokes in neutral Or in gear (assuming you are starting in gear)?
Did you change out slave cylinder before or after the problem?

Both I think. I didn't want to burn out the brand new clutch right away. When I start it in neutral it's a lot noisier, but when I start it in gear with the clutch pressed down it still wants to move.

I replaced the slave cylinder after the problem. Got the clutch done, back together, had the problem, and then replaced the slave cylinder.

Check the adjustment on the pedal. I put a CM stage 1 (the one that works with oem flywheel) on my TLS, and at first it would only go in gear with the engine off. My slave cyl was also new and the master replaced with OEM.
Anyway the fix was to adjust the pushrod all the way out. Well past the normal pedal height specs.

So I replaced the master, and adjusted the pedal both ways to avail. Same issue. Here's some pictures of my slave with the clutch pedal depressed and released, one set adjusted in and one set adjusted out. Not really a whole lot of difference. Looking like I have to take it apart again to see what I screwed up.
