Nav screen flickers when music is playing?

Hi I was listening to music today and I noticed that while the music was playing the nav screen would get little black lines/flickers flickering all across the screen while the map was on the display. When I pressed the Audio power button to turn off the music, the flickers went away. Has anyone else had problems like this? I have the OK button/trip computer/AC controls hack on for a few weeks now and this is the first time I've notice the flickering. It only seems to happen when the navi screen is on day mode as the flickering is black and at night it's probably hidden. It happened at all volumes but I noticed it first at high volume, then turned down the music and it still was happening.

I have an '04 TL automatic. Any suggestions? Could it have anything to do w/ the navi hacks?

Happens with me too.My Navi is completely stock and i noticed that it happens at only high volumes and is especially visible when listening to Rap or other Bass heavy Genres.
No Long term effects to report though, i think it would not cause the display to malfunction.

Maybe car battery is getting weak. Or alternator. DO it with lights on also and i bet they flicker too. Bass notes take more current and likely pulling reserve juice. Thats why custom stereos have big capacitors in install.

My guess is there is no problem at all. The high volume/bass heavy music will pull more power for all those speakers and the sub-woofer. All cars will see the lights dim and flicker "to the beat" if the music is pushed real hard.

Dont Worry, it happens to everybody. Ive given up trying to care and it apparently doesnt damage the screen so, just sit back and enjoy the music

Negative, i got a new battery recently and it still does that. A poor design is the likely suspect.
