My car has an AI. Or a poltergeist.....
I loaded up my kids in the TL to head to church on Sunday to find out my battery was dead. It wasn't completely dead, it turned over sluggishly a few times then began just clicking the solenoid. I was out of town for a little over two weeks and didn't drive the car. That combined with the cold weather, red top optima and TL battery drain issues didn't really suprise me. So I gave her a good push, hopped in really quick, got a bit of momentum and dropped the clutch in reverse. One more reason I love manuals
. Dead battery? No problem.
The battery was a little sluggish after three hours at church but had enough juice to turn her over a couple of times. (parked on an incline just in case
) Got home, got the kids unloaded and put the charger on. Went back around to the drivers side to get my phone out of the car when suddenly the car beeped like I was pushing the "lock" button on the FOB then all four windows and the sunroof rolled down/back halfway. Then they all stopped for a second, then rolled down/back the rest of the way. Then the beeping that happens when you set the seating memory setting went off once followed by all the dash lights blinking twice.
Has anyone ever had this happen? I pulled the charger off the next morning and everything is fine. I figured the spirit of nightrider had possessed my car or something. I'm sure it had to do with a low battery but still, pretty wierd.
