I have tried to get my memory buttons onthe door to work but can't the lights won't even light up on the buttons does anyone know how to fix this or check it out. Also I would like a cheap remote transmitter any suggestions on where to get one

 

as for the remote search on ebay for one, the light bulb love to burn out in the TL for some reason and mine driver 1 does not lit anymore but still works when press the memory preset.

 

you have to be in P (parked) when you press it or it wont do anything as it can cause an accident.

 

Undo the battery for 30 minutes. Make sure you have the radio and navi security codes!

After that's done the system will be fully reset for memory seats. Turn the car on and close the door. While in P, press the SET button and then the 1 and 2 should start blinking.

If it doesn't work, try pressing the SET/MEMO button again. If that doesn't work, try to move your mirrors (both mirrors) in all 4 directions. If there is any stuttering or refusal to move in a certain direction, you'll need to replace the mirror motors ($40 each) because they are interrupting the memory seat system. I've had to replace them in my TL and MDX.
