Sometimes I wish the mods would sticky a thread which simply says "remember that forums are 98% people who came looking for solutions to problems/complaints" At times it can seem like everyone has problems, but the fact is most people with no issues don't seek out online forums Just some perspective.

Sorry you are having so many problems... can't imagine why. The temp gauge is a known issue and dealer had a recall some time back for that. Other than that... bad karma?

bad karma? wtf?
yes alot of people here do have problems but I dont think that its because they like to bitch , its because they are particular of their vehicles and become disappointed with legitimate issues, if they didnt have legitimate issues the dealer wouldnt attempt to repair their problems at all.
as for dcblacktl, I'm sorry to hear the condition of your car, I really hope you have a skilled tech that will be able to pinpoint and repair each issue, hopefully it will be done with as little trips to the service dept as possible but hang in there and dont settle until its all fixed

You also have to realize that this particular forum is a "Problem and Fixes" forum...I never had a reason to look in this forum for the last 2 months until my dash started fading...so while i agree with your thoughts, don't read the forum if it leaves you dissatisfied

Oh I just wanted to clarify this forum is VERY useful for getting troubleshooting... I am not saying don't complain. I've just been noticing in a number of forums lately that the community is largely comprised of people tha thave had problems and needed help... which is fine but can give a false sense of isntability to the product at hand. A good example is online game forums like world of warcraft. The game has zillions of happy and satisfied customers, but reading the few thousand people on the forums, you'd think everyone hated the game

I didn't mena to be too negative in my post, it's not related to the original post's content it's just that all of those things reminded me of the nature of forums

Enjoy your TL, hope you get it sorted!

No problems with our 2005 6speed manual yet.
My biggest gripes are the displays, now why cant you have the radio station number, the artist, and the song all displayed at the same time?
Its not like there is no room on the radio display to at least always display the station number....

And why cant the outside temp be displayed on the climate control display,
or next to the clock???
