LOL (not really)

So I replaced my power steering pump yesterday (23/7/12) and literally 12 hours later my high pressure power steering hose went kaboom! good thing there's a recall on the high pressure hose and the pump wasn't ruined in the process but it was not cool doing 75-80 then all of a sudden steering becomes extremely tight. not cool at all. pulled up to a stop light and smoke started pouring from under the hood (i'm not talking a little no, I'm talking Cheech and Chong up in smoke kinda pouring). Weirdest thing, it started coming through the vents in the dash which really sucked because I now reek of burned oil/power steering fluid.

Your TL could have caught on fire. I hope you took care of the problem.
