Inspire fogs

just installed inspire fogs when I turn them off the button stay lit.im not sure if this will be enough draw to kill the battery or not? will the battery die even tho the lights them selves are off?

It depends. If you have a brand new battery and you use your car several times a day, it's not gonna die from something so small.

But why risk it? Even though it is a small draw, it is still constantly draining power for no reason. How long do you think it will be before it does inevitably die from a preventable cause? Why wonder?

The point is that it shouldn't be on of course, so it's better to fix it.

good point. wHats a 12 volt switch wire I can tap into for power when you hit the switch. preferably under the hood since I already have a wire that's running there and its easier rather than take apart the bottom again.?

use fuse #32 with add-a-fuse
same thing as wiper motor wire, but way easier

Fuse #32 is in the cabin.

You can't see anything behind all the plastic covers.

Splicing into the wiper motor wire looks more tacky.

Yes, Fuse #32 is hot when you turn your car on.

Right now, your wire is hot 24/7, because you're wired to a constant 12V source.

gonna add a fuse it like you said see if I can find one at autozone thanks?
