i need a code to bring back my navi and cd for my 2006 acura TL

2006 Acura TL 3.2 V6

I just boost my car battery for it died due to extreme cold weather. Now, my navi, cd and radio won't work. I tried to put the code in it a couple of times but unfortunately - I got booted out (locked out I think permanently as it fails a couple of times). Please help!

Thanks.

Mark

the lock out is not permanent, you will have to wait an hour before retried or unplug the radio or battery terminal. You have 10 tried before it will lock you out for another hour

its a bait, dealer will provide you with free code if you give them your VIN and radio code IN PERSON even you are their regular customer. In my case with the RL they didn't get jack because I tried all the code from Acura Owner radio code retrieval site.

I called in and asked if there was a charge and they said no. Before i could go, I got it from the previous owner.

like I said its free but you will have to walk in person and provide your proof of ownership and the radio serial number. My RL didn't came with the card nor the previous owner know anything about it so I have fiddle with acura website.

They claimed they would get the required serial number from the radio but we can retrieve it as well by holding some keys down.

RADIO:
Follow these steps..
Push 1,6, and power at the same time (your radio serial number will pop up on your little screen) write it down.

then go to this website:
https://radio-navicode.acura.com/

and all you will need is the..
-Vin Number
-Navi Serial Number

NAVIGATION:
you will have to locate your navi drive and fine the serial number on it and go to https://radio-navicode.acura.com/ and repeat the process.
-Vin Number
-Navi Serial Number

Don't bother trying to call Acura Client Services. They're about as useless as tits on a door.

@David_Pooh retrieve Honda/Acura radio code is nothing new to me, I been doing that since 2nd gen Legend I said that "fiddle" with the website because they will throw a list of "possible" according to your VIN and radio number. I had a list of 25 different radio codes to try from and 5 possible navi codes, luckily I know how to reset the "1 hour lock out" after 10 unsuccessful attempts.
