I made grille mesh, how to attach? Im stuck!!

I cut out all my grille peices to cover all the grille opening such as the pic below. The thing is, I dont know how to attach it? the idea of using chrome/metal twist ties is damn near impossible to tighten it enough, so I am stuck...

PLEASE HELP ASAP!

You do not need any kind of adhesive. just remove the original grilles and cut material to fit opening and reinsert original grille modified as you like. It will sandwich the material and hold in place with the stock clips. I have had mine for years no issues

Can you not remove the top grill/mesh without removing the bumper?

All I want to do is put mesh between the bar where acura emblem is, so above and below

I did my grill without removing the bumper, and I had easy access to everything. Although, I am not sure if this was because I have no metal bumper beam installed. So, just try it first with the bumper on. You will need to remove the plastic panel running above the bumper/radiator (item#2 in pic below) You will be reaching behind the grill via these two openings (from top and from bottom).

I did a mesh grille. I thought this would be quite a dilemma too but found that it is pretty easy to fasten an aftermarket grill to the bumper.

Look at that grill piece #1. See those 2 lower mounts? Look on the bumper where that fits into. I found 2 wingnuts in a size that fits over those. Even though it was not threaded I twisted them on and they are fastened on there, no problems. For the top part I used zip ties to holes already present. The grill is quite solid and doesn't vibrate at all.

ok here is what u do....

1> remove ur bumper....if u dont know how to do this....EXIT NOW !!!! and mods can close this thread LOL
2> for the lower grill there are tabs in the bottom which insert the front part to the bumper.....what u do is cut out the mesh grill the way it sits between the grill which is out and the bumper.....put it there and attach the stock grill back.....now when u cut the grill make sure u cut it properly so that the tabs are left out.....
3> i tried using such simple language that it might seem confusing ....if u got it good....if not EXIT NOW LOL

I think the confusion is...........are you trying to do the two lower grilles, or the main center grille? The lower grilles you can do without removing the bumper. The main center grille requires the removal of the bumper
