Hyper Tough HT500 Bluetooth Scan Tool Only $50

I bought one of these at Wally World. Not bad for $50.. How much deep intrinsic troubleshooting do you need to do on a Acura TL anyway? haha
It does live data, all troublecodes, SRS and tire pressure guages and a lot more.

This is the software it runs on your phone or tablet.

The question is does it read all systems in Acura (what I doubt). Otherwise there are BT, Wifi scanners available per 5$.

I would like to see a $5 BT scanner.
If you want something that does "everything" you will not find it for $50. But I would think you are lucky to get ANY live data for only $50. The famous BLUE Scan tool is like $100
Even if you buy a $400 scanner it won't do "everything" according to Scotty Kilmer. You may have to spend thousands for that.. That's 1 plus 3 zero's or more. =)
The great thing about buying from Walmart is easy returns. If you don't like it, then return it. I see you are from Poland. Not sure if you have walmarts.
BUT I do have a HDS tool.. But it only does Honda/Acura and it is clunky, and cables and power cable, and gotta connect it to a laptop, haul the laptop down stairs.. Plug everything in. PITA. I used the HDS to install a new SRS Unit. There is a registration process that has to be performed when you install new airbags or SRS unit.. Obviously, a $50 scanner will not do that!! But how many people do that? I think I am the only person on Azine who knows how to do that and even convert a 2005 cluster and airbag system over to the 2007/8 system without having the airbag light on. So I know, nobody is going to be doing that kind of stuff unless you are a dealer. And even then a Dealer style HDS tool is like several thousand dollars. $$$
But this Little BT scanner is OBD2 and is also good for ALL cars.. Like my moms Lexus. And no cables!! and connects to phone or tablet. So easy a caveman can do it.

There are more screens than this.. Did you say you want custom scans and live data??? For only $50 it will be hard to beat this..

I would divide the scan tools to those 4 groups:

1. https://www.ebay.com/itm/25254723200...Bk9SR9KlgLyBYg

$5 with free shipping. It will be more limited than your dongle, but will still read engine codes and engine live data. No additional modules tho, just PCM/ECM.

2. Dongles capable of scanning multiple modules, like yours, or bluedriver.

3. Bi-directional scan tools - those not only scan all available modules but also allow to control certain things - like for example actuate the purge valve. Cheapest way to get them used or the ~$700-800 tablet scanner from harbor freight etc. Sometimes they do as much as the HDS can. Sometimes they might struggle with programming keys. Usually they don't work that well with European cars.

4. Actual OEM scan tools, like HDS.

You're right.. it doesnt make sense.
Everyone knows Shipping is not free... just go to USPS or UPS and their prices are pretty high these days. It's really crazy how high shipping is..mostly for packages..
So, the ebay auction is for $5 for a scanner and shipping.....
haha That's stupid.. Doesn't make sense!!
Are a-ziners that gullible? haha
So are you really sure about that???
You think its gunna work? for free? You sure Bozo?
If you dont like the device the STFU
This is only a good review for people who are interested ina decent scanner for cheap..

Most recent purchase - I needed wi-fi one. Use it with Torque Pro.

1$=~4,2 zł

It does not give info about TPMS, SRS - that is why I asked about it
Almost all of those are the same - just the label and price is changing.

Same here.

It works with the Torque app. It looks very similar to the screenshots posted above. 🤷‍♂️
