Has anyone tried the FreeSpeak bluetooth connector that allows any Verizon phone to do handsfree connections?

after more reading from the FAQ's -

Will FreeSpeak work with laptops, PCs, and PDAs?
The FreeSpeak headset can be paired with all devices that are
compliant with Bluetooth version 1.1 and include the ‘headset’ profile.


we need bluetooth with "handsfree" profile - correct?

 

I have a nokia 8265i phone...do you'll think that this Jabra headset would work with my phone or do i have to get a new phone for bluetooth for the TL... Kinda confused

 

Correct it is the handsfree profile that is needed for the TL. None of the bluetooth add ons will work in the TL. Right now Verizon users are SOL.

 

So are Sprint users.

They just came out with READY LINK phones.. liek Nextel.. walkie talkie phones (of course sincve they JUST came out. you wouldn't have many Sprint people to talk to would you!

But NO Bluetooth.

I guess they feel walkie talkies are more important.
