I have removed the moonroof visor installed by previous owner on 08 Acura TL?

What could be done to fix those scratches?

First, clay bar it then try a polish compound on it.

Would you recommend some specific product to use?

 

Clay bar kit: Any will do, Meguiars, or Mothers, etc.

Compound: Try ScratchX 2.0

Sorry, I don't know of any retailers in Mississauga, but you can probably find it for a good price online or keep looking around

 

I want to do the same thing, just bought an '08 TL and the moonroof visor whistles at almost all speeds. I want to remove it - when you did it, were there any permanent scratches left?

 

Does anyone have any other suggestions? I removed my visor and I have the same scratches. I clayed it, waxed it, and went over it with scratch X2.0 and I still have the light scratches. There not as visible but they are still there. I am thinking about buffing it? What do you guys think?

 

I buffed it and 95% of it came out, there are some deep scratches where the edge of the visor use to be, but I is barely noticeable, and I think I can live with it since you have to look really close to tell.
