i installed my hid fogs and they worked fine until the next night when they didnt wanna turn on could the ballast be bad? HELP

 

could be ballast or connection problem..... happened to me

 

Are both sides out?

Hook up oem connector to stock bulbs

Did the stock bulbs turn on?
Yes - you got power
no - check fuse

Is one side out?
Try the bulb on the other side
Did it work?
Yes - Ballast could be bad - Check connections too.
No - Bulb is shot

Some general troubleshooting may help you solve the problem.

 

^ i think it is the fuse cause both sides are out and oem bulbs dont work either

 

where is the fog light fuse for an 08 tl?

 

Its in the fuse box under the hood. Usually on the left hand or right hand side. I'm not positive on the 08 TL as the 09 is my first Acura. Check your owners manual.

 

Not sure about the 08 but the 05-06 does not turn the fogs on if the high beams are on. Did you check to see if your high beams were on?

 

Are u running straight off the factory harness?
Thats the way I initially hooked mine up but only one side wants to come on so. I bought the relay kit, which I have not had the opportunity to install yet.

Fuse is on under the hood
i belive is a 15.. but dont qoute me.
