HID Aiming/Beam Pattern

Greetings Gang. New to me 2007 and here is my headlight beam pattern. Low beams then high. It looks as if the passenger side is not functioning properly. Seems too high with the low beam and too low with the highs. Looking for some other sets of eyes and maybe some insight. Thanks!!

New bulbs? Pretty sure that lack of crisp pattern is an improperly seated bulb.

jus put night breakers in an 07 and had the passenger side look way too low. Tried to reseat it multiple times with the same result. Ended up cranking up the passenger side with the adjustment cog just above the drivers side to limit amount of light into oncoming drivers. Wife's 15 mazzy 3 gt is set like this as well.

I was leaning in that direction mainly for this, but also for the fact that they just seem dim. I didn’t think of it being poorly seated. Thanks!

I wasn’t too sure if these had lens adjustment. Good to know they do! After I change out the bulbs, I’ll get them set right.

How do you like the brightness of the night breakers?

Before you muck with adjustments, block out the driver's beam and post a picture of only the passenger low beam pattern on the wall. Really want to see how crisp/defined it is. Something is not right with the hotspot you have.

Also you need to park at 25 feet from a wall to measure/adjust properly

Night breakers are a decent improvement without upgrading ballasts ect. The original oems were borderline dangerous after so many years on them.

Alright I was finally able to block out each side and hit the same wall from about 20’ out. In order…driver low beam, passenger low beam, driver high beam, passenger high beam. Something definitely isn’t right and it’s more than a simple adjustment.

Driver low

Passenger low

Driver high

Passenger high

Looks like your passenger bulb is not seated correctly. Driver side looks fine. The beam pattern for the passenger side is all sorts of dorked up. This is not an alignment or brightness issue, this is a bulb issue.

Do you have one aftermarket headlight by any chance? Because the cut off line on driver side and passenger side are weird.

Thats what I thought as well. It might be in there all jacked or just a shitty bulb. Definitely needs some attention. Thanks for the insight!

Not sure to be honest. I just picked it up a couple months ago so it’s hard to say. I will get in there and look hopefully sometime this weekend.
