for hids, just stick with getting a set for your low beams, its just stupid to be dropping $300 on high beams...bi-xenon means that the low beam is dual filmaent so it works as your high beam as well i think. Some good ballasts are hella and philips, some good bulbs are osram and philips
bi-xenon is a projector for the most part but you can get bixenon h4s i wanna say, unfortunatly our car does not use an h4 Good call on the hella and you may want to look into the phillips unitron kit Good luck

IT CAN USE H$

CUSTOMIZE IT BABY!!!!
bixenon is a type of projector, it is not a dual filament bulb, when you do your high beams with a rs6 bixenon, hella bixenon or a bosch, the shield for the projector lowers and opens up to reveal more light, the projector is already bright enough without the high beam but once lowers it reveals more of the bowl, the bixenon is activated by a silinoid which lowers the plate andyou get your high beam and low in one, but most people have had troubles with teh bixenon going out meaning the silinoid goes bad or the plate get stuck in place and you are on permanent highs, ask VXCL about this one

here is a pic of a bixenon from a BMW 3 Series
The silinoid up close
