HELP!!! TL-S Aspec spoiler help!

I'll keep this brief with as much details I can give.

I installed my Type-S Underbody spoiler on Saturday(10/25). Everything is great, except the front bumper. I did a search, so please don't own me with "search newb." Anyways, I guess no one had this problem.

There seems to be a gap between my oem front bumper and the A-spec. I'll show pictures since it's hard to explain.

Pressing on the bumper.

Can you guys see the gap?

What should I do? I bought double side tape.. should I apply it? I went through the instructions 3 times. It seems like the only thing holding the kit in that upper area is another strip of double sided tape. I doubt I missed any screws.

i would definitely put the double sided tape on. The stock tape they have on there isnt strong enough.

Crap, it came loose again even with the double sided tape. When you applied it, was it set after that?

Do you think the cold weather has anything to do with the tape not sticking as well?

did you clean the area with isypropl (sp?) alcohol? if not, its just sticking to dirt. Also if you use a second person, heat the bumper up with a hair-drier and then slowly put the kit on a section at a time.

No alcohol was applied, I did wash the car prior before installing. I think that was a bad idea now considering, it made the car slippery (wax like feeling). Isypropyl alcohol is basically rubbing alcohol right? That can simply be bought over the counter from a store like safeway/walgreens correct?

Heating the bumper makes a lot of sense, I'll do that next when I get home this weekend. Also at Kragens(Auto store), they offered two types of 3M double sided tape. I don't recall the exact measurements, but one was thicker than the other, I went with the thicker tape. Now, I'm kind of regretting it because the tape is so thick the bumper is sticking out. To be more detailed to where I stuck the double sided tape, I placed it right over the OEM stickers.

Do you guys have any recommendations or tapes you have used? I appreciate all the help guys!
