HELP!!!! Door sensor messed up and doors wont lock!!!

Hey guys. Need some serious help right now. I have an 04 TL While I was at work, it started to thunderstorm. The moment I herd thunder, my alarm started going off. I'm not sure if it striked my car, but I went out and turned it off. Then 5 mins later it started going off again. so i went to turn it off again. Then it started going off again. After a couple times it stopped. Ony my way driving home, my dome lights turned on and the car said my right rear door was open. I pulled over 2 c if it was. I checked it repeatedly and its not open at all. Even when its closed, it says its open. When I got home, it was still the same, and the worse part is I couldnt lock my doors!!!! so right now my car is sitting outside unlocked. I'm about to sleep in my car tonight so nothing happens to it. Anyone could help me out or know what might be wrong? any comments or adive is all welcome. Thanks

I think im having a similar issue. While driving, i've notice recent that if my passenger puts weight on the front passenger doors armrest (pushing the door out), the dome light cuts on and I get a notification that the door is open. The door is locked and doesnt move anymore than any of the other doors. I also get the light at times when making a hard left turn. I am able to lock my doors but dont want this to be a problem. Do you guys just think this is the sensor bugging out or something else?

@ itsnickONG: Did you ever get your issue resolved?

Check out this thread, specifically my post in it. Should prove helpful for you guys:

In addition, the switch could be bad, or just not adjusted properly like in the above thread, mentioned in my post (with test procedure).

Hope this helps!

Basically, you can't lock your car because the sensor is saying that your right door is open?

Open then door, and there should be a black rubber that has a hole in the middle being held by a screw.
See if that is alligned correctly with your door.
If necessary, unscrew the piece and screw it back on.
That rubber connects with the sensor on the door.

I could get more detailed but too late to go out and look at my car.
