If the wiper fluid doesn't spray and auto-dim on the rear-view mirror also doesn't work(no green light on the mirror), then I believe it's fuse #20. A TSB addresses the problem by recommending replacement of the 7.5 amp fuse with a 10 amp fuse.

if it was a fuse, then how would he be able to move the mirror in certain directions and not others. Does the other mirror work properly. If not then my guess would be the switch. If the other mirror does wotk properly, then i would be guessing that the actuator for the mirror is bad.

Ok, I just bought a TL last weekend, and I have this list of issues exactly. Can you get me more info on this TSB? Link to something or the name of the TSB so I can search it out? I also have random locks that work work. Sometimes the passenger side locks or unlocks, sometimes the drivers feels like locking... other times it doesn't. From many other threads, it sounds like that could be the actuator, or the fuse panel itself? Could the door locks also be related to this TSB?

Awesome user group here. Glad I found you all!

BB.

Others had the problem with reduced operation of the mirrors as well as no wiper sprayer or auto-dim, and it was fuse #20, so it's the way the TL's minor controls were engineered.

Might as well check the fuse first, BTW, since it's cheaper and easier than buying a mirror switch or actuator.

The TSB is b05-033, which can be viewed at: Acura[world.com]/tsb/3gTL/b05-033.pdf <[remove the brackets for the http address-- AZ doesn't like competing sites].
I think the TSBs were renumbered or it was superseded later, as I can't find it on AZ's October 2005 TSB lists.

However, it sounds like you have a bad door lock actuator since the door locks are a separate issue.

Welcome to AZ too!

I see what you are saying even though it makes no sense, hopefully the OP comes back and lets us know.

good, glad a suggestion worked for you. I need to look at the electrical drawings for this damn car more to find out how things are wired up. Hope you stay around to build up your post numbers.

This Fixed my issues as well. Also fixed the seat/mirror memory (hadn't noticed it not working yet... new to me car and all) Thanks for the help! Now... on to the door locks- and yes, first step is replacing the battery, it looks like it is crap. - but that is a topic for another thread.
