Heater Issues?

I'm hoping somebody can help me figure out the problem that I am having. I can not get my heater to work. When I turn the temp up to 77 or so - it just blows air (no heat). My heated seats work just fine. What do I need to fix?

I'm assuming that this is just a bad thermostat? What else could it be?

I don't think a thermostat would have any effect on A/C. Best to check your A/C system or bring it and get a free A/C diagnostic from your local mechanic (tons in Dallas).

I don't read it as a/c is the issue, he has no heat. Yes check to see if both heater hoses are hot going into and out of heater box at firewall. The heater valve motor under the dash may also be dead or binding.
