Fuse Problem
Fuse Problem
I just got a 04 TL with Navi, and notice my cigarette outlets weren't working. I started playing around the fuse box in the driverside foot panel. I removed a few fuses and put them back and figured out that I had a blown fuse in the ACC port. I replaced it and everything seemed fine. I didn't drive the car until this morning, now the upper display doesn't work, my Temperature doesn't show, my trip information resets everytime I turn off my car, my fob doesn't work, I haven't checked the Navi. Will disconnecting the negative terminal of my battery fix this problem?? Or is this something more involved?? Thanks for your help.
sounds like a ground wire is loose somewhere- was the ACC fuse blown?
Is the lighter port at the dash loose?- some like to push in from their proper seat and can cause other probs
How is the outlet in the center console- ?
go back and undo whatever you did and see if it all works correctly again

Figured out the problem, I must have checked a fuse and put it back in the wrong slot. I realized that in diagram that it shows the fuse's and what it's for along with (), example 7.5 and (7.5). I'm assuming that if the voltage has a parathesis around it that it should not be used. Anyways that what I thought and now everything works fine. Sorry about this stupid post, I should have just figured it out without posting anything.
