but no solution.

Problem was recently i pulled up to a gas station to fill gas. The fuel door lever was not pulling up. I had to give it a good tug to finally release the fuel door but right after, the button/lever is now stuck all the way back and the fuel door will not close as a result.

I tried checking the trunk beneath the carpet and tried tugging the cable. It seems the little button to hold the fuel door is recessed and I am out of ideas.

 

Try tweaking the release tab on the door.

 

somehow when i came home it finally closed when i was gave it one last shot. fingers crossed until next time i need to fill up.
