Battery Light On After Replacing Battery

Hello all, I just purchased a 2007 TL-S with 110k and am new to the Acurazine Community.

anyways, the car had a dead battery when i purchased it, and I replaced the battery with a NAPA Legend Battery. Immediately after putting in the battery and turning the key, the battery light is still on the dash.

The alternator is putting out charge so I've ruled out that possibility. I've been driving for about 2 weeks on this new battery and it hasnt died so I'm thinking it is functioning properly.

I've read about the Bluetooth module failing and draining the battery, so I have disconnected the HFL unit and disconnected the battery terminal for a few hours and when i reconnected the terminal, the battery light is immediately on the dash without hesitation.

Does anyone have any idea to what is going on with my car? has anyone experienced this issue before?

Thanks in advance for all your help
