Hey guys, I finally started driving my Acura TL after coming back from a 4 week vacation. I recently replaced the Hid bulbs to a more clear white.. Now two weeks into driving car, when I first start the car and put on headlights, nothing comes on. Only the foglights if i put the switch on. But after driving maybe 20-30 mins, one side low beam would come on, and I would have to keep flicking around until both sides finally come on. Its been happening 3 days in a row. The low beams will not come on at all until after 20-30 mins of driving. And then even after, I have to flick the headlight on and off to get both sides on. What could be the culprit?

 

It could be a few things, especially since you are using aftermarket bulbs.

First off it could just be that the bulbs are just loose and aren't making proper contact with the igniter. The second possibility is that the lights are burnt out because they weren't good. Third, it could be your ballast or igniter that is failing.
