I have a 05 TL and when I turn of the car and get out close the door the doors go threw like a lock cycle and remain locked except for the drivers door. That being said the drive door being open but the alarm doesn’t s activated. Can’t tell you how many times I went out to grab something from my car open the door then panic to find the keys to turn it off. If I leave the keys in the ignition the alarm doesn’t go off. Please help this is on my last nerve. Thanks.

 

Do you have an aftermarket alarm / remote starter installed? If its locking by itself it could be a wiring fault. Also what did you mean by "the drive door being open buit the alarm doesn't activate"?
