Electrical problem with car? help.....

I've had this problem twice now. Both times, when I unlocked my car, the passenger side mirror would turn inwards until it couldn't anymore, and then it keeps on trying to turn thus making a clicking sound each time. I repositioned the mirror and pressed the "memo button" and then "1" to restore my settings. Haven't experienced the problem since, dunno why it happens :S

your problem is the lateral or vertical position sensor in the mirro

If those sensor goes out the memo system stop working.

With the controls, move the mirrors in all directions until you hear it clicking a few times then press your memory setting and make sure it goes where it's suppose and see if it happens again. I remember this happened to me a long time ago

Make sure you move the seat and side mirror into your position then press memory the select the key fob you actually having #1 for driver 1 position 1, number 2 only for driver 2 key fob 2 sound like your fob letter is wear off so you don't know which one. If you don't want any adjustment then press lock and unlock at the same time and hold until the light lit up to disconnect the memory function.

I replaced the mirror actuator for $30 on the passenger side and it fixed the memory seats in my 04
