So one day my car wouldn’t start. It cranked but wouldn’t actually start. Then when I managed to get it on it had a rough idle like it wanted to turn off. Then I noticed my temp gauge read “high” even though it was completely cold out and I had JUST started the car. I checked under the hood and noticed my ECT connector wires were broken (don’t know if they were already like that, didn’t look under the hood very often). My temp gauge never did that before, it always worked properly. I want to know how can I install a new connector? Where would I have to connect the wires? Also would that be the reason for the difficulty starting and rough idle?
