2008 TL-My Driver's seat memory function stopped working completely. I also notice that when I manually use the switch to move the seat back and forth, the seat does move about 2 inches and stops. If I click it again in the same direction it moves another 2 inches. So, the motor works fine, the switch to move the seat back and forth works fine, its just not continuous.

I do also have the passenger grinding mirror problem as well.

Any idea on the seat issue?

 

Mirror actuators. Change them.

 

There is a drive cable under the seat. Mine popped out from the gear assembly and had to be bolted back in. Made a rattling noise before is happened, I thought I had dropped some change above the seat rail 😂
