Driver side window problem

The driver side window refuses to roll back up. I press the button, it goes half way up, and then rolls back down. Going to the dealer for a fix tomorrow, but is this a common problem? BTW, this is on an 06 with 1500 miles.

you guys sure there is nothing in the way of the window from going up? there is a system that will auto down if there is something in the way, its to protect from causing harm to persons if the auto window up is on.........

Ha, that happens with my 03 CL as well. Nothing in the way, just reverses direction.

I've had this happen twice. It was a faulty window regulator both times.

It happened to me after I tinted the windows... driver side window refused to roll back up automaticly, I had to hold the button to close it.

Go to the dealer and get it fixed, but don't forget to check if the window rattles after the fix done.

Replaced the door glass run Part # 72275-SEP-A01. No rattles so far.

check the window regulator, it might be broken and needs replacement.

I had this problem a few months ago. The dealer told me the buttons need to be held in the up position(while window is closed) for 10 seconds to reset the switch. It seems to have done the job. No problems since.

driver side window problem

Very nice site for us acura owners, thanks to you all! The plastic lever covering the driver side window control cam loose yesterday, window won't go up. Dealer said new switch is needed ($250 - ouch!).

These little but expensive problems are annoying!
That's all I can contribute except for sympathy. Greg.
