My wifes Acura TL Seat dont move forward or backward, or reclines, or goes up / down. the lumbar support works. The memory buttons also stopped working. A few months ago it would also work for a couple days then stop working for a couple of day. It hasnt worked in months now.

Its stuck in her position which makes it really hard to drive for anyone else.

I read about mirror actuators not working, but that's not the case here both mirrors are fine, and the rearview mirror dimmer light turns on, etc..

I already unbolted the seat and checked all the wiring, everything is snuggly connected and no wires look cut or damaged.

Should I go ahead and replace the switches and memory module unit? they're not that expensive on ebay.

Am I going in the right direction here?

It was the driver side mirror actuator. I replaced it and it started to work again.
