Memory seat not working

I have a 2004 TL and my memory seat stopped working around the same time my driver side mirror was broken from some punk (not sure if its related).

I unlinked my remotes and checked the fuses under my dash. Side mirrors move, both power seats move, wipers work fine. The "1" "2" and "memo" lights up...

Can't think of anything else it could be. Any advice?

Am I checking the wrong fuse?

Thx

couple days ago, when I unplugged my side mirrors, I noticed that my memory seats wouldnt work anymore. The seats worked just fine and would move, but the memory seat buttons were unresponsive.

Im sure this is the same thing that happened to you. fix your mirror, and your memory seats will work again. the reason that this is happening is that the memory seats also control side mirrors.

^^what he said. The mirrors and the seats are linked on the same circuit as the memory seat buttons and your key fobs (driver 1 and 2). If one item on that circuit isn't working properly then the whole memory system stops working. Fixed the mirror and your memory seat buttons and settings will function. Thankfully the TL doesn't have a power telescoping steering wheel, 'cause that would stop working too. If once that's all fixed and it's still not working.... sometimes a dying battery can be the culprit.

You're right after I replaced the side mirror the memory seating worked!

I ordered the side mirror (acura OEM) from ebay. But the glass seems to look different than my old one and passenger mirror. The depth or clarity doesn't seem right...

Are the glass different from 04-06?

I'm not 100% sure as I can't distinguish the difference. The seller said it was Acura OEM and it fit perfectly / looked exactly like my broken one..

How do you disconnect and reconnect your side mirrors? This same condition happened to me this week...single digit weather here. I replaced the fuse in January to a 10A when I noticed the power washers and some control on the side views weren't working. But now what I have is: working power washers, side view mirrors work BUT the passenger side goes all wonky and clicks out of position, AND the memory seat lights don't work. So reading this thread, want to understand what and where exactly the side mirror connection is.

Update: I think it definitely has something to do with the weather. It warmed up a little more yesterday (still below freezing) so I think perhaps moisture from a car wash caused ice to form in the actuator which was causing the side mirror to move and click randomly. But b/c of the warmer temp, the clicking and random moving went away and the mirror was able to re-align. When it did, then the Memory Seat controls were lighting up again. So this tells me that the info in another post is correct: that if the side mirrors can't align, it trips off the Memory Seat controllers as a safety precaution (although not sure why that would be). FYI so this doesn't get confused with the 10A fuse fix...my power seats, heater, rear view mirror dimming switch/light, full adjustment of the side mirrors, and washer fluid pump WERE ALL WORKING. I definitely think it's an actuator lubrication deal. We get back to the 50's next week so we'll see if that stops the issue. One other thing, I've seen people recommend actuators with wrong part numbers for our Third Gen TL's...it's actually 76210-SEP-A01...not 76210-STX-H03. The latter is cheaper and corresponded to other Honda platforms but not the TL. It's about $60 online...a bit less locally.
