Driver side mirror memory settings messing up
Driver side mirror memory settings messing up
I'm the only one who drives my '08 TL-S and I haven't changed anything, but it just suddenly started happening that whenever I go up to the driver side door, the side mirror automatically starts tilting to face up, so I have to manually fix it if I want to see anything but the sky out of it.
According to the owners manual, I'm supposed to put the ignition in the second position, press the Memo button which will beep, then press the 2 button(I'm using key fob 2) to record to the new mirror position, but I'm not getting any beep whenever I press Memo.
How can I fix this or turn off the memory settings? Any help appreciated!

Your memory seats are linked to the keyfob.
You can either do one of two things.
Go into MID settings and disable key fob memory linkage
Or
Replace your mirror actuator
My 2008 Base was the same way on both sides. It should also move up when menory seat button is depressed or when tilting in reverse if you switch the mirror switch to the drivers side.
