We are about to start repairing the seals on upper engine, and found 2 gaskets that look like the plenum gasket. It's confusing, because in the rebuild kits it seems to be included. I'm assuming it's for an the 2nd gen TL, just seeking some clarification. I'm changing the valve cover, intake, and probably lower intake gaskets. And resealing the water pump. Will I only need 1 plenum gasket? I'm new to posting here and really appreciate this community.

Your 05 TL is 3G J32A3.
The second set is for 2G CL/TL J32A2 engine.

 

Thanks for the fast response. I was seeing the both in full rebuild kits and just thought I was missing something.
