hey guys, my friends 05 TL's Manifold has gone bad! He needs a new Manifold, is anyone selling it or? It's really expensive in a dealership!

Intake Manifold! He's top and 2 bottom ones are bad, so he needs a new one that's what I mean!

Everything after the TB is considered the intake manifold. The runners, plenum, etc are all the manifold. The TL happens to have one that unbolts in a few pieces but it's still all the intake manifold.

OP, an intake manifold doesn't really go bad unless you somehow physically break it. What's the actual problem with the car?

 

It does have three parts as I HATE CARS stated... should really think about things before you flame!
I am with I HATE CARS, they really dont go bad the are alum. and unless a part is cracked the only part that can go bad is the gaskets, and if a part is cracked that replace that one part not the whole thing. Sound like shop is full of BS

 

Give me a f'ing break.... there's 1 intake manifold. Everything else is part of the intake system. There's a difference between intake manifold, runners, and anything else after the throttlebody and that's why they have their own names.... he didn't say intake system, he said intake manifold....

And flamed or not, I really was helping and even showed the pics to the op so he can confirm it was the manifold.

 

Runners/plenum/etc are all part of the intake manifold. They were usually cast as one piece in older cars and now come as separate bolt on pieces. Still all the intake manifold assembly.
