When my air bag indicator warning light went on, I asked my independent Acura mechanic to take a look. He read the code as 61-10 which supposedly means "Open in the left -front seatbelt buckle switch." According to the Acura owners manual the seat belt is covered under a separate lifetime warranty, so I am bringing the car in to the dealer for their diagnosis. The service consultant thought the repair would be covered under the warranty but couldn't say for sure. I will update this status after the car is looked at on Monday, March 18.

 

I have the same code. Waiting on my seat belt buckle to show up for them to replace. Covered completely by warranty.
