Crazy pull to the right?
Went in last wednesday and got oil change and tires rotated. Day after i started to notice a slight pull to the right while driving and when i would give it alot of gas it would pull hard. Tookk it back in today and had them look at it and rerotate the tires and everything and its still doing it. Couldnt seem to find the problem. Had them check the mounts and they all seem fine. They said it could be the axles but arent for sure. Any ideas what it could be causing this?
I recently purchased a 04 with the 6MT. I had the same problem. I noticed it when I test drove it and the salesman told me it was torque steer. I told him that he didn't know what he was talking about. Anyhow, I swapped the front tires and it pulled the exact opposite way. I put the bad tire on the back and it was much better but still pulled. I have since replaced them with a set of Continentals. It drives straight as an arrow. How did they rotate your tires? I always rotate the drive (front) tires straight back and the non-drive (rears) criss crossed. Depending on how the tires were rotated, the bad tire could be on the same side that it was on before making it continue to pull.
Get the alignment checked too... If that's inline, you've either worn your tires in a bad pattern (rotate and balance with each oil changes) or maybe your suspension has worn out (endlinks, bushings, shocks).
well tires are maybe 6 months old and their directionals so i can only go fron to back and my alignments is inline that has just been done as well....maybe it has to do something with the suspension? more input def needed in this thread
my 07 TLS used to drive straight as an arrow until I put directional tires on. Now it also pulls to the right. I had it realinged twice and both Acura and Tire Kingdom claim its the road crown. Yea I guess ever road in every direction always pulls right LOL Funny as my wife's 2011 Jetta TDI Sportwagen has no pull on the same roads.

I had this exact same problem in my 06' TL. I bought new Continental DWS tires, had the car aligned and balanced at the dealership. Still pulled. They tried the bull crap about road crown, etc. They ended up swapping the right two tire to the left side. And the pulling almost completely stopped. When I asked them why, they said "some wheels like being on certain sides of the cars" hahahah. idiots. Still had some vibration issues and the tires would thump until they warmed up. I had purchased the DWS's at Tire Rack. Oh, by the way, Acura told me all rims were perfect and none were bent. I decided I would try to have the car road force balanced. I found a local high end shop that had the Hunter machine (this had worked on my old Benz), and they did the work for $80 and I got the car back and it was still screwed up. I called Tire Rack and they told me that even though the DWS's seem like a good deal they really are bad tires. They said if I drove the car to them in Indiana, they would install new tires for free if I paid the difference. I did that, had a new set of GREAT Michelin's installed, and they even found two of the rims to be bent which they very clearly showed me. Drove home 20,000 miles ago and I have not had a vibration or pull since. Very frustrating process, but the end result was worth it. So many of these mechanics just say whatever they need to get you out of the door.
^^ Believe it or not, the Hunter machine does tell you which position to put each rim on the car. I mounted my own tires and had my buddy use his Hunter machine to road-force balance them. Once they're balanced, it tells you where to put them. I bought the Continental ExtemeContact DWS's. I love them and my car drive straight as can be. I still think this is a tire issue. Were the tires road force balanced? I've seen brand new tires have balancing issues.

Yea he is wrong. It happens ALL the time whether coasting with my foot off the pedal or foot on the pedal.
Maybe I just worry more than I should but I always think it might be that the air pressure in one of the tires on the right side is really low / going flat. But a few months ago I had a tire go flat out on my right side for some reason I still don't know, and THAT pull to the right was huge, nothing compared to what I'm experiencing now.
i wish i could find a shop around my area that had that machine so i could get my tires tested it sucks especially with directionals since i have to keep them on only one side of the car
I would think that any reputable tire shop should have a road force balancer. Unfortunatey static balancers are a thing of the past unsless you have steel rims.
I actually had the same problem. I have directionals and rotating them didnt help until I had a shop demount the tires off the rims and swap them cris-cross. I have to do that every time I rotate, that's the one thing I dislike about having directionals other than them being loud.
