Blinking interior lights
Blinking interior lights
First, let me say I'm a newbie and this is my first post. I'm hoping to get some advise, and hopefully a simple fix on my tl issue.
two nights ago I started to link my '06 homelink buttons with my new garage door opener. So, I first held down the 1 and 3 link buttons to clear the old settings.. Well, then I realize I didn't time to unplug the opener and go throught all of it, (moving and it was late) So I didn't finish it. While driving at night after that, I noticed all my interior lights are now blinking really fast. Not the dash lights but everything else. Everything by the shifter, all the door lock lights basically everything that's not on the dash. I have to believe I did something to cause it, but who knows. Anyone seen this? I'm hoping it's an easy fix light unhooking the batttery and re attaching, but I know next to nothing about cars. I at least want advise on what to look for before I take it in. Thanks folks.

Just letting you know I had a similar experience a few months ago driving at night.
All my lights flashed including headlights, tails, license plate lights etc.
I figured out that my Accord fog harness was too close to my battery negative terminal which the bare wires could have touched to cause the car to go crazy.
I now moved the fog light harness and haven't experienced anything strange since!
I doubt it has anything to do with you programming your HomeLink.
Have you experienced it again?

Yes, it's happening every night now. I also just noticed today that my AC is sounding like it's blinking. meaning, the compressor sounds like its going in waves. Now, this may be because the heat index is 110, but the lights are still bliking.
Not headlights, but my front side markers are also blinking.
