Use your eyes to identify where you may see greenish/bluish dried fluid. Pics would be useful too

gotta look at all coolant hoses, gotta look at the reservoir. is the plastic reservoir cap busted? how about the radiator cap?

undo the plastic engine covers, then reach your hand in there to look at the hoses. perhaps a hose is brittle and has cracked where the clamp is.

Coolant leak


Recently my car started leaking coolant and I found the source to be this black hole in the picture above. It is on the driver side near the battery under the car, close to the front left tire. Is this missing a bolt or any idea why it might be leaking from here?

That's the transmission.. there shouldn't be any coolant around there. Check ATF warmer lines

Other posters have mentioned that hole (see link below). I think the leak is higher and collecting in that hole making you think it is the source.
