Come take a listen to this noise "VIDEO"

I don't know what this sound is but if anyone has had this issue or knows what it could possibly be let me know...

I emailed to Acura Service about it. It's been getting worse "Louder and last longer" And its only at cold start. Goes away after car is hot.

Sounds like a bad belt tensioner pulley. Either that or an alternator whine.

The problem ended up being the power steering pump. It was some POS after market, so the deal installed a factory OEM and the sound went away!

Wow, PS pump would have been way down on my list, but glad you got it fixed How did the aftermarket pump get on the car? Did the dealer check to see if the PS safety recall had been performed on your car?

Yea I had all the recalls done on the car the first week that i got it. I guess they didn't look at the PSP and I told them about that noise at that time. When I went in to the dealer I showed the mechanic that noise and he spotted the PSP, and It was not OEM.

Im assuming that the prior owner had replaced the PSP at some point and was to cheap to go with OEM parts.

I have to admit that what ever the type of PSP that was on my car before, performed much better than the OEM "Aside from the noise that it made.lol"

Now I have the common issue with the steering being stiff while parking and ect.

yeah I wouldve never guessed the PS pump for that noise, it sounded like bearings going bad in a pulley. I have the same problem with my steering too, sometimes its really hard to turn.
