Climate control issue

Hey I searched for the same problem and found some similar but could find any solutions. My 06 recently has started not to blow any different temperature from the climate control on all setting unless I change it to "HI". Even at 31 degrees(thats the last setting before "Hi") it will blow cold air. The fan still adjusts its speed and it changes the setting for the air distribution but no change in temperature. If I turn the temp up all the way and then back down it seems to work almost normal with the temperatures being off by a bit. Also last sumer I noticed if I ran the a/c i would need to set it at 25 or 27 degrees otherwise it would be way to cold, guess thats when the problem started. Previously I would run 22-23 degrees.

Any help where to start to look would be appreciated

Thanks

check the charge on the a/c. a lot of hondas with dual zone climate controls will blow like that if the charge is low.

regardless of set temp if you run full auto mode then the a/c kicks on and off as needed, thus could still be a charge issue.

Make sure that your temp sensor is installed right. It is in the lower part of the dash where you right knee would be. Mine got detached and was reading the temp up under the dash rather than in the car. Once I reattached it, it works fine.

If you search for some iSimple install threads, you have to remove the lower panel and temp sensor to accomplish that job.

Installed new interior temp sensor and problem solved. The old one had so much dust and debris clogging it up its no wonder it couldn't get a good reading. I also replaced the outside temp sensor because it would read 19 degrees for about an hour of the car running then finally move to the correct temp. Works great now
