I need a little help with replacing my drivers side door actuator. I have viewed other posts and still having trouble. I am able to get to everything but disconnecting the metal rod traveling up to the door handle. If anyone could help, thank you.

 

For me, one of the rods was easier to disconnect at door lock or the handle, and the other at the actuator - I can't remember which. Use a good light and maybe a mirror to get a good mental image of which way to turn the clips to release the rods, because once your hand is in there it's hard to see anything. I used a screwdriver rather than my fingers to pop one of the clips.
