Child lock on back doors

Child lock on back doors

Does anyone know how to remove the child lock on the back doors???
I tried that little white switch, but it doesnt seem to be werking.

It sounds like you are approaching child locks correctly. The little white switch on each door will either activate or deactivate the rear interior handle for that door. If not, the switch may be broken or disconnected.

The thing is that the switch doesnt seem to be working on either side, because both of the rear doors have the safety lock on them rite now.

You might wanna take your car to the dealer then and get it checked out....come to think of it I've never used mine. I'll go check if they work right now.....we'll see if its just your car??

Well I guess you might wanna take your car to the dealer, cuz mine works just fine. Switching up or down...nothing else to it.

Make sure you have unlocked the power door locks.
Then make sure the switches are in the UPPER position to permit the interior door handles to open the rear doors.
If that doesn't permit you to open the rear doors from the inside, you will need to visit the dealer.

Went to the dealership this morning and they fixed the back doors, dont know how, but they did it.

I am having this same problem except mine is stuck in the up position and it still isn't activating the door handle. Any help would be appreciated

Have ya tried pulling the interior panel off the door yet ?
Perhaps the connecting rod linkages or actuator needs checked.
