check engine light w/ VSA light problem.

this keeps occuring. my 05 TL keeps having the same problem. during driving the VSA and Check Engine light will turn on, and the car will go into limp mode while i am driving. went to a local shop. and nothing can be found. i need some advice before spending money at a dealer just to take a look at it. thankyou

does this happen under aggressive/high rev driving or normal driving.......if it happens while you drive aggressively, it can be that you're low on oil...if it happens while driving normal, it can be the TPS-Throttle Position Sensor.

the shop you went to, couldn't pull any DTC codes?..... from what you're saying, once the CEL is triggered, it should store a code, so the shop should have been able to read a code with a simple OBDII scanner.
