Check Engine Light

Just got my smog check done today. Check engine light came on right after. Has anyone had this issue before?

That is an ambigous question you are asking.

Need more details i.e. any issues, any work done prior to taking her in, etc.

Have you try to scan it yet to see what code it is throwing?

So I guess a check engine light showing after a smog is quite common. Something about the front wheels spinning and the rear wheels not spinning while revving during the smog check process throws the system off. I just took it back and they were able to erase the code. This is the first time my check engine light has ever came on being the first and only owner of 6 years with 104k miles.
