Car wont start Please Help!

My car sat in the garage for about a month and a half and I go to turn it on and it has absoltuley no power.

we attemp to jump it and when I try to turn it over, it makes a quick shocking sound and nothing happens, but the lights in the car (dome / mirror lights/ side door lights, etc) are all working.

can anyone help me? Lol

I hope its not the alternator, or the ignition / start system.

the tl has a weak battery, and all of the electronics in the car can drain the battery alot. The car needs 550 CCA's to start. I would call acura roadside (if you have the service), have them tow the car for free and have acura put in a new battery at a pro-rated charge.

connect - to chasis

jumping a totally dead battery is hard on everything in the system
Alternator are not made to handle the high charge rate and the battery doesnt like it much!
A SLOW 2 to 7 amp charger on the battery, with cables removed because you are cleaning them anyway right? should fix you up
