hi all

My car rattle when i stop at a red light. (only when the AC is on). if i turn the AC off it wont happen. seems like the idling rev is too low. any suggestion guys?

 

Alex, you have to be more specific. Where does the rattle come from? Is it the front maplight console located in front of the moonroof (I have this problem), or is it the rear deck (I also have this problem), or where?

If you're < 50k, the stealer will try to help you, but I don't know that I'd recommend it.

Give us more info! We have some DIY's on some rattle fixes in the Garage.

 

i think he means engine idle. its normal or at least i think it is.

Could it be the heat shield? Because my car rattles from the engine when the A/C fan is on and I thought I read somewhere that it could be that the heat shield is loose?

 

Mine only happens when the car is idling. Is that similar to your situation OP?

 

Mine does this aswell, in for some ideas on what it could be .
