Car was fine this morning WTF?? Video help

Like an idiot I left my phone charging in my car 4 days ago and let the battery die.. I had a local place come out and jump it with one of their battery chargers. Ever since then my car has been acting weird!!! Taking longer to start, I even lost power for a second while driving yesterday.. AND NOW THIS.... What the hell did they do??

It has started the last couple days, but not like it usually did!!
Before I let it die, it was starting great, very powerful, not like this weak crap..

Update.. I just went out to start it again, and the lights and everything are noticeably dimmer than in the video which I shot ten minutes ago

so you drained down your battery, had someone jump the battery, and are experiencing issues now? how long did you drive around after getting it jumped before shutting it off again?

go get your battery tested. get the cells checked. put a volt meter to it and the alternator.

how old is the battery anyway?

Lol.. It doesn't say.. I just got the car in December, and it's really the first I've looked at it.. It has an Acura sticker on the battery and a spot where someone was supposed to check off the date and they never did.. It says it's 100 month warranty and the car is an 05, so I'm good right?? Haha

techs often forget to mark off the date on top. BUTT there should be a date engraved/stamped on the side of the battery.

either way, acura batteries suck and fail all the time. go get a nicer one with higher CCA's and you'll be good to go.

Once you drain the factory Acura battery like that and most likely it is a few years old, I would definitely consider a new battery. Make sure to get one with a decent warranty though.

I ended up getting a Duralast Platinum or something for $140.. Hole crap.. It started like it was on rocket fuel!! The beep noise from me locking it is now about 3-5 times louder. The doors lock with force now.. I was getting ready to buy a sub and amp this weekend and I'm glad I ran across this problem now and not then when im installing the shiz.. Thanks for the quick diagnosis. I was going to get it towed because I thought it was something worse. After everyone said battery, I just took it out, took it to auto zone and problem solved in less than 1.5 hours..

I will say.. First time I've ever had a battery go dead like this with any car. The lights and everything still worked, radio was fine..really worried me

^yup. when a battery fails, it does some weird things to the car.

when mine started going out, the alarm would go off by itself, the dash looked like christmas lights, and the keyfob wouldn't work at all.

good times. glad you got it sorted out.
