Car battery drained.. Did a silly mistake.
So this morning I got in my car, when I got in everything was normal then when I tried starting her up, no response whatsoever. Non of my lights turned on so I assumed the battery died, called my pops to try to jump it and while I was doing that I put the negative on the positive and the positive on the negative accidentally-not knowing it was supposed to be the other way around
The jumper cable was burning hot after 3 minutes and no response whatsoever and it burned a piece of the positive side of the battery.. So I had to tow my car to my local mechanic shop. As of now they don't even know what the issue is and they need to keep my car overnight... Any suggestions to what the issue would be?

You had no electrical power on the car, and then jumped it backwards for a few minutes?
First step, you need a new battery at this point. If your cables are melted those might be a good idea. I presume you attempted to start the car with the polarity reversed?
Your best hope is the main fuse saved the rest of the car. Check the main fuse, and that the fusebox has power. If it does, you most likely need an ECU at the least. If it does not, replace the main fuse and hope it works.
It really sounds to me like you would be better off towing it somewhere that can help you.

As I approached my car I unlocked it, the lights blinked when I unlocked my car, as I got into my car I tried starting her up and there was no response.. Not even a clicking noise.
I found out I forgot to unplug my garmin gps charger from the outlet (which is what I think drained my battery).
The positive wire was burned when my mechanic checked it out and showed me.
Yeah I know I should've towed it in the first place but I was in a rush to go to work and thought I just needed to jump my battery :/
Hoping I really don't have to change my ECU if worse comes to worse because that's definitely going to burn a hole in my wallet lol.

Good luck and hopefully a new cable, fuse, and battery get you going again.

Well Tony, I will not be harsh but what I will say is that I hope you learn a valuable life lesson.
Check twice cut once. Make sure that you know which post is which before putting on jumper cables.
Always hook up positive post first then hook up ground. Ground is always last.
You should look up a video on watching a battery explode due to a cigarette, open flame or spark and remember that while leaning over a battery with a cigarette in your mouth or excessive sparking while jumping a car.
